Parkland County recently underwent an upgrade to our accounting and billing system. As a result of the transition to our new system, Utility invoices that are typically mailed in the first week of May have been delayed until late next week. As a result of the delayed mailing, no late payment penalties will be charged for this billing cycle. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Parkland County is advising residents, haulers, and industry partners that road ban season is approaching. Road bans are typically implemented from mid‑March to the end of May to protect County roads during spring thaw.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: In accordance with the requirements of Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act, as amended, the Council of Parkland County has scheduled a Public Hearing regarding the proposed adoption of Bylaw 2026-11.
The Government of Alberta’s 2026 Budget confirms continued investment in two major transportation projects in Parkland County: improvements to Highway 60 and Highway 16, both essential to regional safety and economic growth.

Parkland County is developing a Water and Wastewater Master Plan to guide how water and wastewater services could be expanded over the next 50 years to meet the County’s long-term growth needs. Residents, businesses, and stakeholders are invited to participate in the planning process by completing a short survey, open until March 18, 2026.
