Recycling Changes Effective October 1, 2026
Alberta's enhanced recycling program is now in effect. More packaging and paper materials are accepted for recycling, and recycling depots at transfer stations have transitioned to single-stream collection.
Parkland County provides waste disposal, recycling and composting services to help residents manage household waste responsibly.
Most residents can dispose of household waste at a County transfer station free of charge with a valid Solid Waste Card and government-issued identification. Limited curbside garbage and recycling collection is available in select communities.
