Parkland County is celebrating the success of last Friday's outdoor movie event, which brought together nearly 650 attendees for an evening of family-friendly entertainment under the stars. 

Parkland County, in partnership with the Town of Stony Plain, City of Spruce Grove, and the Village of Spring Lake, conducted a large-scale functional Emergency Management simulation, a catastrophic tornado dubbed ‘Operation Twister’.

Starting October 1, our team will be on site in Wabamun and Entwistle one day each month to provide you with easy local access to County services, including:

• Customer Service
• Planning and Development
• Enforcement Services

Parkland County is ready to unveil the newly revitalized Waterfront Park in Wabamun with a Grand Opening event at 10:00 a.m. on September 20^th. The festivities kick-off with a ribbon cutting followed by a day that’s packed with entertainment including live music, a family fun zone, a vendor market, cultural presentations, children’s performers, a free BBQ lunch, and more!
