Parkland County welcomed the Honourable Andrew Boitchenko, MLA for Drayton Valley-Devon, and Shane Getson, MLA for Lac Ste. Anne-Parkland for the announcement of up to $562,500 in provincial funding for two rural road infrastructure projects.

This year’s historic rainfall has left standing water across many parts of Parkland County. We understand how stressful it can be to see water remaining near homes, fields, roads and driveways after an extended period of wet weather and saturated ground conditions.

Join Parkland County for our fifth annual Outdoor Movie Night, hosted at the Coal Diamond Sports Park in Wabamun. Following last year’s event, which brought together nearly 650 attendees, this year will feature Hoppers on the big screen. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for this open-air movie night! Want some snacks during the movie? A concession stand will be open.
