Take notice that the following development permit(s) have been approved by the Development Authority as a permitted use with variance, subject to appeal:
Parkland County students pursuing post-secondary education in agriculture-related fields are encouraged to apply for the Spruce Grove & District Agricultural Society Student Scholarship program. The Spruce Grove & District Agricultural Society is offering two scholarships valued at $1,000 each to support students continuing their education in agriculture and related industries.
In accordance with Sections 606 of the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000, c. M-26, as amended, the Council of Parkland County has scheduled a Public Hearing to consider proposed Bylaw: 2026-29 – Rescinding Entwistle ASP & Amendments.

The West Central Airshed Society is celebrating the opening of a new continuous air monitoring station in Wabamun. The event will be hosted on Wednesday, October 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the West Central Fire Station (4820 - 52 Avenue, Wabamun).
In addition, there is a webinar taking place on October 15 from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. via Zoom. This will help participants learn about where odours come from, how they are monitored and assessed, how concerns are addressed, and the tools and approaches used to better understand and manage odours.
