Wabamun Winterfest is Back With a Bang!

Holiday activities, local businesses, and fireworks are all part of this year’s celebration!

Wabamun Winterfest is back on Friday, December 4, 2026 at 5p.m.! Bundle up and join us for an evening of holiday entertainment throughout the hamlet and capped off by a fireworks finale.

Visit the Christmas Market at Jubilee Hall, take a horse and wagon ride at the Enforcement Satellite Office, and say Hi to Santa over at the Wabamun Seniors Centre, where they’ll have a family craft corner and free popcorn too!

There is even more to explore at the Wabamun & District Museum and local businesses are offer activities and treats, including cookie decorating, crafts, karaoke, samples, and shopping specials. Then roll on over to the Lions Club bowling alley where you can sneak in two games for $10 before heading back out for more festive fun.

Look to the skies for fireworks at Coal Diamond Sports Park at approximately 7:45 p.m.

Help Stuff the Cruiser

Stop by the Home Hardware parking lot to warm up with hot chocolate next to the fire pit and chat with our Peace Officers. You can tour their Enforcement vehicles, and help us Stuff the Cruiser with nonperishable food, cash or new, unwrapped toys in support of the Wabamun Christmas Hamper Program.

Wabamun Winterfest is made possible through the sponsorship support of ATCO, CN, and PyroWest fireworks.  Thank you to both organizations for helping bring this community celebration to life.
