In collaboration with the Edmonton Humane Society (EHS), Parkland County is currently participating in the Trap-Neuter-Return Program (TNR) to manage local populations of unowned cats. The TNR initiative aims to reduce the number of free-roaming cats in a humane and effective way.

From Wednesday, May 27, to Friday, May 29, students from grade four and five classes had the opportunity to participate in interactive learning stations set up at the Chickakoo Lake Recreation Area.
