Due to the weather, ball diamonds at Meridian Sports Park and Coal Diamonds Sports Park are closed.

Due to elevated levels of fecal indicator bacteria, Alberta Health Services (AHS) is advising the public not to swim or wade at the Camp Yowochas beach area on Wabamun Lake, effective immediately.

Please take notice that the following development permit(s) have been approved by the Development Authority as a permitted use with variance, subject to appeal:

All sports fields at Meridian Sports Park and Coal Diamond Sports Park are open.

In collaboration with the Edmonton Humane Society (EHS), Parkland County is currently participating in the Trap-Neuter-Return Program (TNR) to manage local populations of unowned cats. The TNR initiative aims to reduce the number of free-roaming cats in a humane and effective way.

Environmental and Agricultural Services' Pond Days events have brought another year of outdoor learning in Parkland County.
