Pursuant to the authority of the County Council and as provided in Section 22 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the proposal of Council to pass Bylaw 2026-13 to close, for the purpose of sale that portion of road in Parkland County in the Province of Alberta described as follows:

ALL THAT PORTION OF ROAD WIDENING LOCATED WITHIN NW28-53-4-W5
AS SHOWN IN ITS ENTIRETY ON PLAN 1620765
EXCEPTING THEREOUT ALL MINES AND MINERALS
Parkland County is advising residents, haulers, and industry partners that road ban season is approaching. Road bans are typically implemented from mid‑March to the end of May to protect County roads during spring thaw.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: In accordance with the requirements of Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act, as amended, the Council of Parkland County has scheduled a Public Hearing regarding the proposed adoption of Bylaw 2026-11.
The Government of Alberta’s 2026 Budget confirms continued investment in two major transportation projects in Parkland County: improvements to Highway 60 and Highway 16, both essential to regional safety and economic growth.
