As a newer resident of Parkland County, joining the Community Sustainability Committee two years ago was a meaningful way for me to become more connected to the area. It has given me the opportunity to better understand the initiatives taking place across the County, the priorities of Council, and the many factors that influence decisions affecting residents. Serving on the Committee has also allowed me to meet fellow residents and neighbours, and better understand the diverse experiences and viewpoints represented throughout Parkland County."
