Notice for Acheson and Big Lake Area
Significant rainfall across the region is causing the ARROW wastewater system to exceed capacity due to increased flows and water infiltration.
ARROW Utilities is responding to a pipe failure near Twp 532A and Twp Rd 271. ARROW crews have implemented emergency measures, including 24-hour pumping and temporary bypass lines, to reduce risk to property and the environment.
Parkland County is working with ARROW and neighbouring municipalities to ease pressure on the system. Residents and businesses in the Acheson and Big Lake areas are asked to limit water use to essential needs only.
