Parkland County Invites Public Feedback on 2026–2029 Strategic Plan

Every four years, following a municipal election, Council develops a new Strategic Plan. This plan sets the direction and priorities for Parkland County and acts as the roadmap that guides both Council and Administration.

Through a series of strategic planning discussions, Council has developed the 2026-2029 Strategic Plan. The 2026-2029 Strategic Plan presents a refreshed purpose and vision for the County, supported by four interconnected drivers that will shape the County’s strategic direction over the next four years. It also identifies key goals and desired outcomes that will guide administrative priorities and advance the County’s long‑term progress.

The plan reflects what we heard from residents, businesses, and community partners. Parkland County is a place where rural character, economic opportunity, and high quality of life are deeply valued. The Plan also acknowledges the importance of preserving our natural environment and supporting the services and infrastructure that help our communities and businesses thrive. Together, these priorities position Parkland County to move towards our-term vision to be responsive, resilient, and ready for tomorrow.

Council would like to hear from you and receive your feedback on the Strategic Plan. Public input will be collected from April 15 to May 15, 2026.
