July 10, 2026: Parkland County will be completing valve replacement work in Entwistle on Wednesday, July 15 and Thursday, July 16, 2026. As part of this work, crews will be testing valves and associated fittings.
Residents in the affected areas may experience periodic water service interruptions between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day. Water outages are expected to last between one and three hours.
To reduce impacts to residents, all construction activities will conclude by 4:30 p.m. each day, and no water service interruptions are anticipated during evening peak hours.
Residents are encouraged to prepare in advance by filling jugs, containers, or bathtubs with fresh water. Please also consider any special water needs, including pets, cooking, medical equipment, toilet flushing, and other household uses.
Once the work is complete, crews will flush and disinfect the system and take necessary precautions to avoid water quality impacts.
This valve replacement project is an important infrastructure improvement that will help improve the reliability of the water distribution system. It will also help reduce the extent and duration of water outages during future water main breaks, maintenance activities, and emergency repairs.
Parkland County appreciates residents’ patience and understanding while this important work is completed.
