Have your say on updates to Parkland County planning Documents

Parkland County is modernizing its approach to Area Structure Plans (ASP) to help make planning documents more consistent, flexible, and user-friendly for residents, landowners, businesses and applicants.

Two public engagement opportunities are coming up in June, and we invite residents to stop by, learn more, and share feedback with the project team.

The River’s Edge Development Area Policies and Woodbend-Graminia Area Structure Plan project includes adopting new River’s Edge Development Area Policies and rescinding the Woodbend-Graminia ASP. These changes will help guide how the area may develop over time and support a planning approach that balances growth with the needs of residents.

Open House

The Entwistle Area Structure Plan Rescinding project looks at rescinding the existing Entwistle ASP as part of the County’s work to streamline services, reduce red tape, and better align planning documents with current County plans and initiatives.

Open House
Thursday, June 11, 2026

Both open houses are drop-in format, so residents are welcome to attend anytime during the event.
