Community Invited to Rolling Meadows Wetland Planting Event

Parkland County, in partnership with Sweetflag Environmental, is inviting residents to take part in a Rolling Meadows Wetland Community Planting event on Saturday, May 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

This hands-on volunteer opportunity will bring community members together to help plant native wetland species at our new wetlands near Rolling Meadows. The event offers participants a chance to contribute directly to local environmental stewardship while learning from experienced professionals. 

Participants will: 

  • Plant native wetland vegetation 
  • Learn from environmental professionals 
  • Receive tools and on-site training 
  • Enjoy a fun, outdoor volunteer experience 

All ages are welcome to attend. Children under 12 must be supervised by a responsible adult. Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather and come prepared to get muddy.
