2026 Sports Parks Bookings Open
Parkland County maintains two sports fields, Coal Diamond Sports Park and Meridian Sports Park, both offering a variety of amenities including green spaces, soccer fields, playgrounds, and ball diamonds. These Facilities are open daily (weather permitting) from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm and are currently accepting bookings through September for events, sports tournaments, and other outdoor activities.
Coal Diamond Sports Park
The Coal Diamond Sports Park is a multi-purpose sports and recreational park located at the northwest corner of Wabamun.
This location offers:
- 1 hardball diamond
- 1 softball diamond
- 1 grass ball diamond
- 1 soccer field
- A playground and camping area
Meridian Sports Park
Meridian Sports Park is located next to Parkland County Centre, 53113 HWY 779 (between HWY 16 & HWY 16A).
Amenities include:
- 4 baseball diamonds
- 1 regular size soccer field
- 1 practice soccer field
- A playground and camping area
