Bridging Connections

The Bridging Connections team consists of Community Social Workers who are dedicated professionals offering compassionate and confidential support to Parkland County residents. Community Social Workers actively listen to individuals, identify solutions, and facilitate connections to pertinent community resources. Their role is to assist residents of all ages and situations in navigating life’s challenges. 

Date: Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (drop in and appointment-based services available)

Age: All

Registration: Call 780-962-7618 to make an appointment if desired; however, an appointment is not required.

Locations:

  • Entwistle Community Recreation Centre - second Wednesday of the month.
  • Wabamun Community Centre (5217 52 Street) - all other Wednesdays of the month. 

NEW SERVICE COMING SOON: Community Navigator

Bridging Connections has recently expanded its services with the addition of a Community Navigator. This new service focuses on information, referral, and system navigation to help residents understand what support is available and to access the services that best suit individual needs.  

The Community Navigator will be present in Parkland County four days per week. Specific community locations are currently being finalized and will be shared once confirmed. Existing Bridging Connections services remain unchanged.
