On November 5, Parkland County’s agricultural community gathered at Keephills Community Hall for the annual Producer Dinner, hosted by the Agriculture Services Department and Agricultural Service Board.

The Young Agrarians Business Mentorship Network provides new and next-generation farmers who have been in business 1 to 10 years with practical, personalized mentorship to help build strong, resilient farm businesses.

We are excited to announce a new fall workshop series that will occur online and split over the course of three weeks:

• October 22: Getting to know your well 
• October 29: Maintaining and managing your well 
• November 5: Sampling, testing and treating well water 

This fall, Parkland County, Sturgeon County, Woodlands County, and Leduc County are joining to present a webinar series on prairie fruit orchard management. Registration is required for these zoom sessions, taking place Nov. 26th & Dec. 3rd.
