Entwistle curbside pick-up

Pick-up occurs on Wednesdays every week.

To allow for the best service, please follow these guidelines:

  • Please have garbage out by 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday mornings
  • Garbage is in a secure receptacle (cart)
  • The receptacle should be in plain sight and easily accessible for the driver, near the road or alley way
  • For the safety of our operators please keep bags of garbage manageable in both size and weight (under 19.5 kgs or 44 lbs)
  • Ensure sharps, such as broken glass, are disposed of safely in a secure and sturdy disposable container

Please note a minor adjustment to the blue bag recycling collection as we transition from the 2025 schedule into 2026. Specifically, garbage and blue bag collection will occur on December 31, 2025, followed by another collection on January 7, 2026, resulting in two consecutive weeks of both garbage and blue bag collection.

This change is temporary and from January 21, 2026, blue bag collection will return to a regular bi-weekly collection.

This change in management will not affect the frequency or schedule of blue bag pick-up. Additionally, there will be no changes to the type of materials collected at this time.

Please note that more information is available on their website: Circular Materials.
