Garbage and Recycling

Curbside Waste and Recycling Pick-up

Parkland County offers curbside waste and recycling pick-up for residents Entwistle, Big Lake and Wabamun. Six transfer stations are available in the County and access is available with a solid waste disposal card. Regular household waste can be dropped off at no charge when this card is shown to the site operator.

Alberta E-Waste Pilot Program

We are participating in Alberta E-Waste Pilot Program at these participating transfer station locations: Parkland County, Kapasiwin and Seba Beach. This means that these locations also accept other electronic gadgets, such as small appliances, audio visual, telecom, power and air tools, games, toys and music related items for recycling. For a complete list of accepted items, visit the Alberta e-waste pilot program page or email epilot@albertarecycling.ca if you have any questions.
