- Check taps and toilets for leaks
- Install water-efficient toilets that use 4.8 litres per flush compared to the older models that use 13 to 20 litres per flush.
- Replace showerheads with low-flow models.
- Save water by taking shorter showers – 5 minutes is a good average.
- Install low-flow faucets on all bathroom sinks.
- Turn the water off while brushing your teeth, shaving, or washing your face.
