The water line has been successfully repaired. The Water Usage Restriction – Condition A has been rescinded, and there are no restrictions in place.

Friday, February 13 at 10:00 a.m.:

A water line break has occurred on the main supply line serving Wabamun and Entwistle.

As a result, Water Usage Restriction – Condition A is now in effect for Parkland County. Condition A includes a temporary ban on municipal water‑use operations.

There is no impact to residents at this time, and drinking water remains safe and available.

County crews are closely monitoring water levels throughout the system. If additional restrictions become necessary, the County will notify residents immediately.

Repair work is being led by the West Inter Lake District (WILD) Water Commission, which anticipates completing the repairs by midnight tonight.
