Wabamun Waterfront Park Construction

Please note that construction will be starting on Waterfront Park in Wabamun on Monday, Sept 30, 2024, and the park will be closed to public. 

During the closure, the parking lot, pier, and boat launch (when it is completed) will remain accessible. Temporary washrooms will be placed in the parking lot during the first week of October. We apologize for any inconvenience. 

As part of our commitment to the growth and diversification of Wabamun Hamlet, Parkland County is investing in improvements to the Hamlet's waterfront area. These investments align with the 2010 Waterfront Area Structure Plan and support the 2022 Wabamun Area Vision. These improvements will provide new public amenity for residents, support economic transition, and encourage future growth in the Hamlet.
