Tri-Region Kicks Off Red Ribbon Campaign

Last night, Mayor Allan Gamble was joined by Spruce Grove Mayor Jeff Acker and Stony Plain Mayor William Choy to support MADD Canada’s Project Red Ribbon campaign. Project Red Ribbon is an annual awareness campaign to promote sober driving during the busy holiday season.

The red ribbon is a symbol of the wearer’s commitment to never drive impaired, and helps keep the sober driving message top of mind for all who see it. It is also a tribute to the hundreds of victims killed and thousands of victims injured each year in impairment-related crashes.

With the support of other sponsors, participants and first responders, red ribbons were tied to our emergency vehicles. Together, the tri-region wishes for a holiday season free from impaired driving crashes.
