Successful Wabamun Community Info Fair

Parkland County would like to thank residents for joining us the evening of January 22nd in Wabamun at the Information Fair to celebrate successes in the community. 

Mayor Gamble, Councillor Wiedeman, the County's CAO, and staff from multiple departments were on-site to host avid discussions pertaining to topics around community RCMP presence, changes to the Responsible Pet Ownership Bylaw, the FireSmart program, the business revitalization initiative, and current Wabamun projects. Staff were also able to provide information about the shoreline naturalization work around the lake and management of aquatic invasive species, works around sewerage and the current draft land use bylaw process.

County staff enjoyed the excitement shared by residents on local projects and services, including positive feedback about the Your Parkland quarterly magazine, the new eNewsletter, and Caring for the County campaign.
