Registration Open for Alberta Open Farm Days

Local farms, ranches, and food businesses are invited to register as hosts for Alberta Open Farm Days, happening the third weekend in August. This province-wide open house gives Albertans the chance to experience agriculture firsthand and connect with the people who grow, raise, and make their food. 

Becoming a host is simple. Provide a few basic details, including your location, contact information, and the type of experience you want to offer, and the Alberta Open Farm Days team will work with you to build a host profile and create promotional content for event weekend. 

Hosts include farmers, producers, ranchers, food makers, culinary schools, chefs, tour operators, agritourism attractions, markets, retailers, beverage producers, and more. Ideal hosts are those willing to open their gates and share a genuine look at their daily operations. Alberta Open Farm Days provides hosts with resources such as insurance and permit guidance, signage, culinary coaching, marketing and advertising support, an online profile, porta potty reimbursement, and printed promotional materials.
