Red Cross Babysitting Course Registrations Now Open!

Join us for one of the following Red Cross Babysitting Courses:

• October 4: Carvel Hall
• November 2: Brightbank Hall
• November 29: Rosenthal Hall

This course covers everything from managing difficult behaviors to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. The cost is $60/person, and each date is scheduled for ages 11-15 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. 

Registration is also open for the Stay Safe Program. This program teaches applicable and age-appropriate skills, while increasing and reinforcing a youth's capacity to improve their own safety. The Stay Safe Program is being hosted for ages 9-13 on October 19 at the Muir Lake Community Hall. The cost is $55/person and it's held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. 

Canadian Red Cross programs educate youth on important safety situations; from learning how to Stay Safe when home alone, to caring for younger children in the babysitting course.
