Ready to Help Design the Future of Hasse Lake Day Use Park?

Through a public request-for-proposal process, Parkland County has initiated a project that will see through the conceptual planning and detailed design for the future redevelopment of Hasse Lake Day Use Park.

Hasse Lake is one of the County’s key day use parks that for many years has been a destination for residents and visitors to the County. Recently, this park has experienced a sharp decline in usership and this project is the first step in reinvigorating public and stakeholder interest in park use.

The project is being led by Parkland County Community Services department, and the plan will result in a long-term vision that will modernize park amenities, maximize recreational experiences for our residents and provide an appropriate level of service for County parks and open space.

We look forward to offering public engagement opportunities in 2025, which will include focus group stakeholder workshops, Committees of Council workshops, public open house events, an online survey and a presentation of the final concept and proposed development to Council for decision.
