Celebrate National Volunteer Week in Parkland County

Parkland County is proud to recognize the incredible impact of volunteers during National Volunteer Week 2026. Residents are invited to join Kudos and Conversation, a free, drop-in celebration happening at three locations across the County.

Whether you already volunteer or are interested in getting involved, Kudos and Conversations is a casual opportunity to connect, share experiences, and learn more about how volunteers help strengthen our communities. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments provided by local businesses and take time to mix and mingle with Parkland County Council.

Kudos and Conversation dates and locations:

  • April 20, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. – Woodbend Hall
  • April 21, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – Manly Hall
  • April 22, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. – Entwistle Community Recreation Centre

Gifts will be available for the first twenty Parkland County participants at each location. No registration is required; residents are welcome to simply drop in at the time and location that works best for them.
