Boat Launch Closures due to Construction

Please note that construction begins at Wabamun's Waterfront Park on Monday, September 30, 2024 and the park will be closed to the public. During the closure, the parking lot, pier and boat launch (when it is completed) will remain accessible. Construction is expected to continue through to November 29, 2024 and at Jackfish Lake from October 4 through to December 18, 2024.

Temporary washrooms will be placed in the parking lot at Wabamun's Waterfront Park during the first week of October.

Construction projects at both locations are being started to focus on improving access and to ensure new concrete slabs are installed to provide an enhanced experience for residents and visitors.
