Annual Financial Report Released for 2024

We’re pleased to share our 2024 Annual Financial Report, as presented to Council on June 24, 2025. The 2024 Annual Financial Report includes: consolidated financial statements, an independent auditors' report, statistics, strategic plan pillars and goals, and a 2024 year in review.

Mayor Allan Gamble stated, "This report reflects the continued efforts of Council and Administration to uphold strong financial stewardship while delivering meaningful services, programs, and infrastructure for our residents, businesses, and communities. Reflecting on the past year, there is much to celebrate. I am proud of the work we've accomplished together and grateful for the trust placed in us by the people of Parkland County."

Laura Swain, Chief Administrative Officer, stated, "As Chief Administrative Officer for Parkland County, it is both a privilege and a responsibility to lead a team dedicated to excellence, innovation, and service. In 2024, we continued to build on a strong foundation - one rooted in collaboration, integrity, and a shared commitment to delivering meaningful results for our residents, businesses, and regional partners." 

These financial statements are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles for municipal governments, which are the standards approved by the Public Sector Accounting Board. The auditor must report directly to Council on the annual financial statements.
