Regular voting stations will open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m.

Voter eligibility

You are eligible to vote in the election if:

  • You are at least 18 years old,
  • You are a Canadian Citizen, and
  • You reside in Alberta and your usual place of residence is located in the local jurisdiction on election day.

  • All voters must be on the permanent Electors Registry.

  • The app will allow you to enter your address and will identify which voting stations you are eligible to vote at, which is the closest to you, and it also gives you directions!

Special Ballot (mail-in voting)

Voters who are unable to vote at their designated advance vote or Election Day voting station, may apply to vote by special (mail-in) ballot, starting on August 1, 2025.
