If you are a nature lover, this is the place for you! With over 480 acres of woodland and lakes, Chickakoo is home to wildlife such as moose, deer, beavers, birds and so much more. Enjoy 11 km of trails used for walking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and cross-country skiing.

Trails are regularly groomed and tracks set for cross-country skiing in the winter months. There are washrooms, picnic areas, fire pits with firewood supplied, a gazebo, a playground, and hand launch for non-motorized boats. No swimming allowed. Dogs are welcome on leash.

Constable Chelsey Robinson Park is Parkland County's newest park on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River. Enjoy the beautiful view of the river as you fish, enjoy a picnic, or walk along the riverbank. There are 16 picnic sites, fire pits with free firewood provided, and washrooms. Dogs are welcome on leash.

Funded in partnership with the River Valley Alliance, this trail is part of Amisko Wacîw Mêskanaw (Beaver Hill Road) trail connecting the North Saskatchewan River Valley from Devon to Fort Saskatchewan. The 7km trail spans from Prospectors' Point to the University of Alberta Botanic Gardens. Dogs are welcome on leash.

Washrooms are located at Prospectors' Point and Bunchberry Meadows. No dogs allowed at Bunchberry Meadows Conservation Area.

Trails at Hasse Lake have been groomed and track set.

This beautiful 300-acre day use park is a great place to enjoy a family picnic, bird watching or take a stroll on the 3 km loop trail. There are fire pits with firewood supplied, washrooms, a playground, a hand launch and dock at the lake for boats (speed limit 12 km/hr) and fish cleaning tables.

No swimming allowed. Dogs are welcome on leash. The park is open for winter use and ice fishing.

This delightful park is the perfect place to spend the day on the water, the beach, and enjoy the sun. It features a boat launch for motorized boats, beach area for swimming, fishing and a picnic area. The park is open in the winter months for ice fishing.

A $20 parking fee applies from May 15 to September 15 during the following hours:

• Weekdays from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Weekends and statutory holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Please note: Parkland County longer accepts cash as payment at Jackfish Lake Recreation Area. Debit card, Visa and MasterCard will be accepted. Parking is limited; 23 stalls are available on a first come, first served basis.

Located on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River, just outside the Town of Devon, Prospectors' Point Day Use area is a great place to go fishing or pan for gold. There are picnic tables and washrooms onsite; however, fires are not permitted. Dogs are welcome on leash.

Prospectors' Point is the trailhead for the Devonian Trail; a 7km trail that connects to the University of Alberta Botanic Gardens

Rehabilitation of Prospectors Point Road from Twp 511 to Prospectors Point Park. Expect single lane traffic, delays and rough road conditions.

Expect single lane traffic and 10-15 minute delays. Construction starts approximately August 15th until October 15th.

The park features a boat launch for motorized boats, fishing, walking path up the fingers of the channel, and a picnic area.

A $20 parking fee applies from May 15 to September 15 during the following hours:

• Weekdays from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Weekends and statutory holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• 35 trailer parking spots within the controlled access lot
• 10 vehicle parking spots outside the controlled access lot (no trailers permitted in this lot)
• Please note that we are still completing landscape work in the park and ask that you stay off the marked areas.

Please note that depth levels will change as water levels change and boat launch users are responsible for checking the water before using. Use at your own risk.

Due to the water outfall in the channel, this is not a safe winter access point, due to unstable ice, for the lake and is closed during the winter months.

160 acres of natural area between Prospectors' Point and the University of Alberta Botanic Gardens with a natural trail system. Enjoy kilometers of trails used for walking, mountain biking, horseback riding and cross-country skiing. Trails are regularly groomed and tracks set for cross country skiing in the winter months. Dogs are welcome on leash. Equestrian use is permitted.

Wabamun Waterfront Park will be going through a revitalization in 2025. Please check our project updates page noted below to confirm the status of the pier and spray park while construction continues.
