Agricultural Bursaries

Agricultural Services provided five (5) bursaries of $500.00 each to students living in the County who are attending University, Community College, or any other recognized post-secondary institution and enrolled in an agri-based program.

The application deadline for this year is September 19, 2025.

Submission Requirements:

• Be a resident of Parkland County. 
• Provide a background essay outlining their rural experience, community involvement, volunteer and recreational activities. Indicate your goals and objectives as they relate to your field of study and agriculture. 
• Provide proof of enrolment in a post-secondary institution.

The form will be provided below in 2025 while applications are being accepted. Please submit your complete form to:

RMA Scholarship

The Rural Municipalities Association (RMA), an organization representing Alberta's incorporated rural municipalities, offers a Scholarship Program. The program supports rural students attending a recognized post-secondary institution.

Please visit the RMA Scholarship Program page for full details on how to apply. Part of the requirement is to have written confirmation from the local rural municipality's Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) certifying that the applicant is a resident of the municipality.
