Parkland KidSport

Parkland County is proud to be a partner with Parkland KidSport, a national non-profit organization that gets kids off the sidelines and into the game by making participation in sports more affordable.

Childcare

Parents can find information about licensed child care programs and family day home agencies with the Alberta Child Care Lookup tool. This tool provides information about the location, ages of children served, number of children that can be served in the program, the program’s status and recent inspection results.

Playschools

Parkland County Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) currently provides funding support to Wabamun Playschool, Blueberry Playschool, Muir Lake Playschool and Clymont Playschool. Programs are for children 3-5 years old, that enhance readiness skills needed for kindergarten. Through social, emotional and play-based programs children gain confidence and independence.
