On-demand local transit provides service to Parkland Village, Acheson, Spruce Grove (including the industrial area), and Stony Plain. Parkland County, the City of Spruce Grove, and the Town of Stony Plain operate one combined on-demand transit service. With over 500 pick-up/drop-off locations in the area, travelling around the Tri-Municipal Region has never been easier! See the map for locations.
There are two types of on-demand pick-up/drop-off locations - marked and unmarked. Marked stops have a bus stop sign. The remaining locations are unmarked (they are “virtual” - they don't have a bus stop sign).

It’s easy – all you need to do is download the app and all your account information, including username and password, stays the same.
For trips up to November 29, continue to you use Pick-Up. After November 30, Pick-Up will no longer be able to take bookings.

To book your trip:
How it works:
Book trips for right away or up to one week in advance for travel between any two bus stops in Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, Parkland Village or Acheson.
You will be given a 10-minute pick-up window, so be sure to arrive before the beginning of the pick-up window because the bus can't wait. The on-demand system calculates the most efficient route based on customer needs so trips are as fast as possible.
When you use your Arc card to tap on and off the bus you will be charged the Arc card fare. The fare payment remains valid for 90 minutes, including transfers between Spruce Grove Transit buses (including the Stony Plain Transit buses). For example, you can travel on an on-demand local bus and then transfer to Route 560 to travel to Edmonton and your total fare will be $5.60 when you tap on and tap off your Arc card on both buses.
Once the total amount you've spent during the month reaches the fare cap, you ride for the rest of the month for free!

The Low-Income Transit Pass provides eligible, low-income individuals and newcomers to Canada the opportunity to purchase monthly transit passes at a reduced rate, allowing them to access public transportation within the Tri-Region as well as commuter service to Edmonton. Eligible residents can purchase transit passes at a discounted rate of $25 for local travel and $50 for commuter service.
Newcomers to Canada are eligible to receive a free transit pass for the first three months, after which they can purchase a pass at the subsidized rate for the remainder of the year.
Individuals are approved for the program on a yearly basis and proof of address and income is required.
Attendants of individuals requiring support
Mandatory attendants of individuals who require support are allowed to ride for free on the Local and Commuter Transit when accompanying a person who needs assistance.
Those requiring support must complete the Needs Assessment for Applicants Requiring a Mandatory Attendant while using Local and Commuter Transit.
The applicant will receive a registration card if it is determined that a mandatory attendant is required. When using the Local and Commuter Transit, the person requiring support will be required to pay the transit fare and they may be asked to show their registration card, which will allow their attendant to ride for free.
