Parkland County is bringing services directly to you! Each month, staff are available in Wabamun and Entwistle to help you access County services, ask questions, and get support – right where you live.

Wabamun Community Centre

  • Third Wednesday of each month (March to October)
  • 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Additional Customer Service hours during June 8 to 12

Residents can connect with several County departments during each monthly visit. Some services are available all season, while others have special appearances during peak months.

Available with seasonal topics to support local stewardship and provide residents with expert advice tailored to their needs:

  • Project and business start‑up guidance 
  • Permits, land, and space support 
  • Business programs, grants and funding connections 
  • Marketing and promotion for local businesses 
  • Event support and community engagement 
  • Single point of contact and navigation support

Available: All dates from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Enforcement can assist with questions such as: 

  • Bylaw inquiries 
  • Property concerns 
  • Compliance information 
  • Public safety issues

Fire Services can assist with questions on topics such as:

  • FireSmart
  • Fire and fireworks permits
  • Fire hazard levels
  • Burning information
  • Fire prevention

Planning and Development can assist with: 

  • Permit applications 
  • Understanding regulations and requirements 
  • Development timelines and process guidance 

Additional Presence: 

During peak season, Planning and Development will have expanded presence from May 20 to August 26, including Senior Leadership Team members also attending.
