2024 Achievements

• In 2024, Parkland County, the Town of Stony Plain, and the City of Spruce Grove issued our first joint bidding opportunity. Working together to purchase goods and services offers the best value for residents of each municipality – keeping costs low and relationships strong.
  
  
• Parkland County is quickly becoming known for having one of the lowest annual property tax increases in the Edmonton region. Our tax increases remain stable and predictable which allow us to maintain service levels while supporting important investments for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops annual capital and operating budgets
• Provides financial advice and support to decision makers
• Prepares quarterly and annual financial reporting
• Prepares and maintains long-term financial plans
• Manages the County's Treasury function
• Facilitates the best use of County funds by establishing and implementing consistent, fair, and transparent
  procurement processes
