Parkland County Family Community Support Services supports National Indigenous History Month by promoting events and activities happening in and around the county throughout June.

Every June, many organizations, agencies, and communities host a variety of events that strengthen the community through learning, understanding, and celebration of Indigenous histories, heritage, diversity, cultures and people.

The best way to gain a deeper understanding of First Nations, Inuit and Métis experiences is through their own voices. Enjoy Indigenous storytelling by picking up a book, attending a show, watching a movie or listening to music from Indigenous artists.

Check out additional resources for other learning and cultural enrichment opportunities all year long by visiting our events page.
