Parkland County recognizes that making indigenous supports more accessible can help preserve and promote indigenous languages, traditions, and practices, ensuring cultural heritage is passed down through generations. These culturally relevant supports and resources aim to help address the impacts of colonization and historical injustices, and promote healing and reconciliation.

Indigenous supports provide culturally relevant resources and services that better meet the unique needs of indigenous populations. Parkland County continues to work on bringing awareness to indigenous issues and will continue to promote understanding and respect among all of our communities.
