Spring is here, which means spring cleaning is probably on your radar. Whether you’re thinking about getting rid of some old electronics, automotive waste, or simply need to clear out some extra household waste, now’s the time to head to your closest transfer station.
There are six transfer stations located across Parkland County, including Kapasiwin, Keephills, Moon Lake, Seba Beach, Tomahawk, and Parkland County.

Getting Your Solid Waste Card
Wanting to reduce waste fees? Apply for a Solid Waste Card.
Parkland County residents can present their Solid Waste Card and a valid government ID at any transfer station to dispose of household waste at no charge. Plus, the card also qualifies you for reduced fees on non-household waste, including construction/renovation waste. Trust us, no matter what you’re disposing of the Solid Waste Card is worth it.
Take-It-Or-Leave-It Program
If you’re pursuing a remodel and have some furniture in good condition, you can take part in Parkland County’s Take-It-Or-Leave-It program! You can even revamp your space by picking up some previously loved furniture while you’re there! You can access the program at Parkland County, Kapasiwin, and Seba Beach transfer stations.
