Each year, we work hard to balance the budget while delivering services that matter most to our residents and businesses. By taking a few minutes to complete our budget survey, you’ll help guide the decisions that impact your community, your priorities and your everyday life.
Your feedback really does make a difference! In last year’s budget survey, 60% of residents told us they support working with our neighbouring municipalities to share the costs of key services like emergency response, libraries and recreation — so that everyone can access more programs and facilities.
That input helped guide our 2025 budget. Parkland County continues to partner with Stony Plain, Devon, and Yellowhead County through Fire Agreements, and we help fund shared facilities like the Tri Leisure Centre in Spruce Grove, the Devon Arena and Pool and the Yellowhead Arena. We also contribute to local library services through the Parkland County Library Board and the Yellowhead Library system.
