Keeping our youth safe!

We are proud to offer Canadian Red Cross programs to help educate youth on important safety situations; from learning how to Stay Safe! when home alone, to caring for younger children in the babysitting course.

Programs and courses will be available at various county community league halls throughout the year. A full list of available locations, dates and times is located at the bottom of the page.

Red Cross Stay Safe! Program

This program teaches applicable and age-appropriate skills, while increasing and reinforcing a youth’s capacity to improve their own safety.

Duration: 5-6 hours 

For Ages: 9-13 

County Residents: $15 per participant 

Non-residents: $20 per participant

Red Cross Babysitting Course

This course covers everything from managing difficult behaviours to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter.

For Ages: 11-15

County Residents: $20 per participant
