Project Updates:

October 2022

All construction has been completed for 2022. Work will resume in spring of 2023.

Prior Updates & Notices:

 September 22, 2022

The project is substantially complete for 2022, however, two scopes of work are remaining to be completed this fall yet. They include broadcast seeding and some minor repairs. The minor repairs are expected to be completed the week of September 26th with the seeding to follow the next week or two after the repairs. Seed germination will remain dormant over the winter so that full germination can take place in the spring of 2023. We ask that residents stay on the paved road at all times and avoid being on the newly top-soiled road shoulder so that we can ensure the seed is spread evenly and will germinate properly in the spring.

Work will continue in the Spring of 2023 with a final lift of asphalt, driveway tie-ins to property line and other minor repairs that may arise over the winter and early spring months. We appreciate your ongoing patience and understanding.

August 31, 2022

Following up on some area resident’s comments please know that the County’s goal is to maintain a level at or above original the road widths and side slopes - as best as possible. Some roads will be slightly narrower while some will be slightly wider, such as near Moe’s pond. There are no plans to install guardrails. The road may appear narrower until the landscaping is complete, and grass has grown in. The County is also working with the contractor to ensure that, wherever possible, the side slope is being flattened with topsoil and landscaping work, notwithstanding the existing conditions, plus the nature of this project’s road work which necessitated a slightly raised road structure.

We anticipate all 2022 tasks to be completed this year, and an overview of remaining tasks to end 2022 will be posted on the website, here, by the end of September for all residents who have signed up for the updates and are following the construction page to view. Further updates will take place in Spring of 2023, prior to the start of any construction activities.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to complete this year’s portion of the project. Please remember that next year the final lift of asphalt plus the driveways will be completed.
