Agricultural Education Bursary
Agricultural Services provides five bursaries of $500.00 each to students residing in the County who are attending University, Community College, or any other recognized post-secondary institution and enrolled in an Agriculture-related program.
Farm Family Awards
BMO Farm Family Award
The objective of the BMO Farm Family Award is to recognize outstanding farm families in an area north of Township 34. The BMO Farm Family Award honors those who best exemplify the value of the family farm to our rural communities and society by being leaders in the industry. Every two years the Parkland County Agricultural Service Board looks for a farm family to nominate for this award.
Submit completed nomination forms to Agriculture@parklandcounty.com.

100 Year Agricultural Award
The 100 Year Agricultural Award honours families who have farmed, and continue to farm, the same parcel of land for 100 years or longer in Parkland County.

Farming in Dry Conditions |
We are continuing to monitor the drought conditions in the County on an on-going basis. The Province of Alberta has compiled a collection of helpful and informative resources for farming in dry conditions. You can also find helpful information for cattle farming in dry conditions through the Canadian Cattle Association. For producers in Parkland County that are interested in the benefits of protecting wetlands on their properties, including increasing water retention, please visit our ALUS webpage for more information. |

Working Well Program - Clean Water Well Protected |
