COVID-19 IMPACTS

As of April 9, 2020, all transfer stations will no longer be accepting cash. Payments must be made with a debit or credit card. 

All Transfer Stations remain open with regular hours. Please only use these facilities for emergent needs and practice proper social distancing. If you’re showing COVID-19 symptoms, please self-isolate and do not use the transfer stations.

STATUTORY HOLIDAY CLOSURES

All Parkland County transfer stations are closed on statutory holidays, including New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Canada Day, Remembrance Day,  and Christmas day.

There are six transfer stations in Parkland County. Select the station below to read more about its hours of operation, payment and acceptable waste materials.

Kapasiwin Transfer Station

Cholla Household Waste and Recyclables Drop Off

Residents can drop off their household waste and bluebag recycling at this site when they present their Solid Waste Disposal Card.

Monday 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Please note: Cholla Household Waste and Recyclables Drop Off is closed all holiday Mondays.

Recycling centres

Devon Recycle Centre

The Devon Recycle Centre accepts Parkland County residents' blue bag recycling items free of charge.

Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The centre is closed on statutory holidays.
