Parkland County does not offer curbside waste and recycling pick-up for residents (except in the hamlet of Entwistle, see below for details). You can drop off your regular household waste and recyclables at no charge at any of the transfer stations with a solid waste disposal card - you must show this card to the site operator before you can get rid of your waste.

Entwistle curbside pick-up
Curbside pick-up is available for residents in the hamlet of Entwistle. Pick-up occurs on Wednesdays every week.
To allow for the best service, please follow these guidelines:
- Please have garbage out by 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday mornings
- Garbage is in a secure receptacle (cart or can)
- The receptacle should be in plain sight and easily accessible for the driver, near the road or alley way
- For the safety of our operators please keep bags of garbage manageable in both size and weight (under 19.5 kgs or 44 lbs)
- Ensure sharps, such as broken glass, are disposed of safely in a secure and sturdy disposable container
Entwistle Spring Clean-up 2020
Unfortunately, the annual Entwistle Spring Clean Up will not be taking place this year.
If you live in Entwistle and have large items you need to dispose of, you can bring them to the Moon Lake Transfer Station. For a full list of what is accepted and their operating hours, please visit the transfer stations page.
