The Animal Protection Act of Alberta (A-41 RSA 2000) ensures the safety and proper care and treatment of animals. Causing endangerment to an animal can result in serious charges and fines.
If you suspect an animal in Parkland County is injured, in distress or is left outside too long without proper shelter, food or water, contact Parkland County Enforcement Services at 780-968-8400. You may also contact the Edmonton Humane Society to assist with injured or ill cats.
