Dogs over the age of six months living in Parkland County must be registered and wear a Parkland County dog licence tag. Dog licences help return lost pets to their owners, increase safety in our community and encourage responsible pet ownership in accordance with our Animal Control Bylaw. Cats do not require a licence in Parkland County.
What is the cost of a dog licence?
A dog license is active for the life of your dog, and may be transferred to another dog or replaced for a fee. If your dog is fixed, please bring your spay/neuter certificate as proof of surgery upon completing the application.
