Garbage and Recycling
Parkland County offers curbside waste and recycling pick-up for residents Entwistle, Big Lake and Wabamun. Six transfer stations are available in the County and access is available with a solid waste disposal card. Regular household waste can be dropped off at no charge when this card is shown to the site operator.
We are participating in Alberta E-Waste Pilot Program at these participating transfer station locations: Parkland County, Kapasiwin and Seba Beach. This means that these locations also accept other electronic gadgets, such as: small appliances, audio visual, telecom, power and air tools, games, toys and music related items for recycling. For a complete list of accepted items, visit the Alberta e-waste pilot program page or email epilot@albertarecycling.ca if you have any questions.
