Major Business Attraction Program put into action
Pinnacle Renewable Energy and Champion Petfoods are success stories of the Major Business Attraction Program. Parkland County allocated an internal project manager, providing one main point of contact to the County and built a dedicated cross-departmental team to aid in the process.
This attraction program supports businesses through strategic project management, including advocating to the provincial government for necessary support required on behalf of the business. Alberta Transportation and Parkland County worked closely together to ensure adequate infrastructure would be in place to support the projects.
