Major Business Attraction Program
Parkland County has a created a Major Business Attraction Program to attract investors and major industry to the area. Attracting high quality business investment into Parkland County plays a major role in creating economic growth, job creation, diversifying the
economic activity and allowing Parkland County to compete in the global marketplace.
The County understands that large industry projects can be complex and require a more specialized approach. The Major Business
Attraction Program brings a dedicated team to aid in the process of either building or relocating to Parkland County.
Economic diversification is identified as a priority in Council's strategic plan, and the County's commitment to this has resulted in the County's sustained reputation as one of the top communities for business in Alberta.
We promote tourism, attractions and events not only in Parkland County but also in the Tri-Region area with the Tri-Region Tourism Initiative. This initiative is funded by the three partner municipalities, Stony Plain, Spruce Grove and Parkland County.
